Stephen Joest

Vice President

Stephen Joest serves as a Vice President with Tenney Group, collaborating on sell-side, buy-side, or valuation engagement to serve our clients at a high level.

Stephen graduated from Purdue University with a Bachler of Science in Accounting and Management, Concentration in Finance. He started his career working in the Audit practice of Deloitte in Nashville, TN, before joining the Tenney Group. Stephen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).

Stephen and his family (wife Haleigh and two daughters) live in Northwest Arkansas. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, exercising, reading, and spending time with friends and family. In the community, he advocates for individuals with disabilities and their families, previously serving on the Board of Friends Life Community, a nonprofit in Nashville that creates opportunities for teenagers and adults with disabilities to develop socially, grow personally, and enjoy community as they experience life together. Stephen’s passion for the Special Needs community comes from being blessed with an incredible little brother, John, who was born with Down syndrome. He hopes to partner with people and organizations that strive to help our friends with disabilities and their families experience life to the full.
