Founder

Charles Tenney founded Tenney Group in 1973. Charles at 73, is still passionate and active daily to ensure hardworking transportation business owners achieve the best possible transaction. One that allows the Seller to move to the next season of life knowing personal wealth is protected and that their family, employees and community continue to be benefited from their life’s work.

When not managing Deals, Charles speaks at events across America focused on educating business owners on how to increase the value of their companies, protect their wealth and prepare for their best possible exit at the appropriate time.

Charles served in the Army Infantry and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He obtained a marketing degree from The University of Texas, Arlington. Additionally, he has served as President of the National Limousine Association, is a member of the American Bus Association and the Taxi Limousine Paratransit Association. For years, Charles has written columns and featured articles in several national trade magazines.

Charles and Tina have been married 48 years. He enjoys all adventures and travel, A lifelong mantra has been “if we haven’t been there, we are ready to go”. Golf, grandkids, cooking and real estate are hobbies.
